Uretech was formed in May, 1995 and is currently a privately owned company. The plant was previously owned and operated by The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Corporation.
Uretech is the worldwide patent owner for the former Polycast ® process; known and marketed as Permastyle ®. The company has grown utilizing expertise in development, technology and processing of its employees; thereby securing Uretech's specialization in the compounding and molding of urethane materials for a multitude of engineered applications.
Uretech is proud to be registered to the standards of ISO 9001:2000.
In May, 1996 Uretech acquired the assets of Precision Plastic Molding Division of Tubbs Industries.
In 1997, Uretech began production from a new high volume self-skinning urethane line.
In 1998, Uretech began production of glass impregnated urethanes on a newly acquired production line.
In 1999, Uretech's web site went online to accommodate clients with Uretech's capabilities and company information.
In 1999, Uretech added a dual head, high pressure rim line.
In 2000, Uretech began production of Rough RiderTM Decoys.
